Our Story

Camden Netball began in 1963 when friends formed 2 teams to play women basketball amongst themselves at the Camden Public School on Saturday mornings.  In 1964, due to growing interest, the Camden Women's Basketball Association was formed and 7 more teams joined in the Saturday morning games.  The games moved to Onslow Park in Camden after the Camden Lions Club provided goalposts and grass court markings.

1970 saw a move to the NSW Netball Association which remains today.  In 1985 at a Special Meeting held at Camden Bowling club, the Associations colours were changed from brown and gold to Royal Blue, Sky Blue and White.  The Rams head logo was agreed upon.

C&DNA moved to Kirkham Park in 1984 with two hard courts and games were played here until 2019. Further upgrades were made to Kirkham Park over the years including extensions to the original clubhouse, and additional hard courts.

With the construction of the Narellan Sports Hub, the Association now boasts a large modern clubhouse and canteen facilities and 44 hard courts suitable for all levels of competition.
